In the summer of 2011, Wahlberg supplied the annual Skanderborg Smukfest festival with a new attraction: a giant beer battle machine. The machine presented a number of physical challenges, among these a mansize hamster wheel. Two teams would battle each other for a bucket of beer. ­More effort equaled more points. The bucket was hung high, out of reach, suspended from cables. When one team took a lead over the other, the beer bucket would be mechanically lowered, and if the leading team lost momentum, the bucket would rise up again.
