A motorized rail system for moving a 14 meter velour-carpet, on a 64 meter closed squared rail.   The system is build upon the standard unibeam rail, with a special made power track, for sourcing the motor and control system. The motor unit is a powerful 700 watt Brushless DC motor, for precise control, and full torque in the whole speed area. The motor unit is DMX controlled, and has a unique positioning system, with drive-wheel encoders and, an index sensor system, that corrects the position-system during use. This unique control system gives a positioning precision up till 1 millimeter, and speed options from 1 millimeter pr. second till 1 meter pr. second. The system contains a learning facility that measures the track the first time it’s assembled. After the learning proces, the track properties are saved into the controller and the rail is ready to use.   The system is build with the flexibility from the unibeam rail system.
